The Old Maps of the 1800s is the "Map Division" of The Write Stuff, a full service printing company located in the western Maine foothills in Fryeburg, Maine.
Our "Bird's Eye View" maps are painstakingly retouched to restore them to their original beauty so that you can enjoy the art and the history in the details of these wonderful maps. You can find most of these maps elsewhere for sale, but most places sell them "as is," without the restoration process that removes stains and fold marks, restores faded colors, and even fills in holes and tears. These maps are printed on museum quality, heavy duty, premium archival matte finish photo paper so that the images not only "come to life," but will last for years and years, due to the archival nature of the paper and the inks that we use.
We are constantly adding to our library of maps, so come back regularly to see what's new ... and if you don't see what you're looking for, contact us! We have hundreds of maps in our library that are not listed yet because they still need to be restored. If we can find the map you seek, we will make sure that it is the next one listed and will be happy to notify you by email when it becomes available.

What Our Clients Are SayingVery pleased with the quality of this print. I had purchased the same map from another site previously and could see right away that this one was clearer and on higher quality paper. Seller was very helpful in selecting the appropriate print type. He is obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about his work and product. Excellent communication and prompt shipping. Thank you! |
